iPhone 5: the new face of the Apple generation

Speculation about the launch of the new iPhone 5 is rampant and has been going on for quite some time. Many consumers widely expect it to hit the market.

Last April, rumors began to spread that the release date for Apple’s new phone might be September 2011. It was even quoted by three sources who spoke to Reuters about it. September 5 is gone and no one has yet seen the iPhone 5.

This year, Apple has spent its time focusing on iOS and Mac OS, which are basically software. Also, on May 6, reports showed that Pegatron, the Apple maker, allegedly received large orders from Jobs and Co., so it could produce 15 million phones before launching in the fall.

Also known as Apple iPhone 4S, the new iPhone 5 is expected to launch with iOS and iCloud. Reports apparently say that Apple is hiring additional staff. On September 5, a screenshot of an alleged Best Buy memo surfaced online suggesting the iPhone 5 would be on sale in the US by October 21.

More evidence from reports claims that the gold version of the iPhone iOS 5 will be delivered to manufacturers in October, just in time for the suggested release in mid-October. A Wall Street Journal report said that Apple is developing the new iPhone model, a fifth generation, but with a different form factor than existing iPhone models. The design of the new iPhone models will be a complete rethink.

Some of the old iPhone design features will still be there, but Chinese case makers have submitted reports on the iPhone 5’s new chassis design. Whether the new iPhone 5 actually has a curved back remains to be seen.

The new model is rumored to have an improved type of voice control that you can use to play your music, send short messages and make Facetime calls. What’s more, the new iPhone 5 would be cutting the cord with its iOS. Updates of this operating system can be delivered quickly and you do not need to activate the devices by connecting them to iTunes because this new generation model from Apple is said to be based on iCloud.

iOS calendars can also be created and deleted along with mailboxes, making it easier for you to transfer the new iPhone 5 from your PC or Mac. Industry controls have said that this device would include minor cosmetic changes, a dual-core A5 processor, HSPA+ support, and better cameras. However, reports from China allegedly claim that the new iPhone 5 will have a larger 3.7 screen instead of the previous 3.5 and will have a metal chassis.

Most likely, the new iPhone 5 will support Full HD at 1080p HD. It will also have a new antenna and could be made from another type of alloy. The iPhone 5 can also be turned into a credit or debit card and it feels like something you’ve never experienced before.
