Nepal has ten UNESCO listed world heritage sites. The capital city, Kathmandu, has seven of them, where it would be their first step in Nepal. Among the ten heritages, two of them are natural resources, Sagarmatha National Park and Chitwan National Park keep great mystical natural beauty in them. Apart from these two, there are many naturally mesmerizing places in Nepal. Some main places are listed below:

1. Sagarmatha National Park: It is where the highest peak in the world, Mount Everest (Sagarmatha in Nepali language) is located. It has exceptional beauty attached to many other smaller peaks, glaciers, deep valleys, rare flora and fauna, unique culture and tradition of the Sherpa ethnic community. There you can enjoy mountaineering, trekking, mountain biking or any other type of adventurous fun.

2. Chitwan National Park: It is the first national park of Nepal which is one of the best tourist destinations in Nepal. The park has reserved a great scenic pleasure with many species of wild plants and flowers, animals, wetlands, etc. It is the habitat of the wonderful one-horned rhinoceros and the Bengal tiger that are on the verge of extinction. Jungle and wildlife safaris on foot, jeep and elephant, rafting and guided jungle walks are the main activities there.

3. Pokhara: Pokhara is one of the best tourist destinations in Asia, which is located in the central western part of the country. It lies in the lap of three great mountains, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu, which cast their beautiful shadow on the Phewa Lake. The mysterious Davis Falls, Seti River, Phewa Lake, Mahendra Cave and many Hindu and Buddhist religious shrines will take your breath away. Annapurna Circuit Trek is also based in Pokhara. Boating, paragliding, sightseeing, mountaineering, trekking are the main things to do in Pokhara.

Cultural Beauty One Must Enjoy In Nepal:

Nepal is a traditional country that preserves its diverse ancient art, culture, civilization and way of life. The specific characteristics of Nepal are “Unity in Diversity” and “Religious Tolerance” as it is home to more than 100 castes and ethnic groups speaking more than 100 languages. People are united by the feeling of brotherhood and brotherhood. More than 10 kinds of religious followers are here, but they have good mutual understanding and cooperation. Seven of Nepal’s religious and culturally significant sites are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Some of them are discussed below:

3. Muktinath Temple: The famous temple of Lord Muktinath is located in the beautiful mountainous district of Mustang, northeast of Jomsom, which is a major center in the Annapurna region. The temple holds great significance for followers of the Hindu religion as well as Buddhists, reflecting religious tolerance. The main sanctuary is a pagoda-shaped temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
