What is BaZi and how does it work to improve relationships?

05-11-2022

Earlier, I discussed how Feng Shui can be used to help improve relationships and also the meaning of ‘relationship’ in classical Feng Shui. Feng shui can certainly bring about positive effects for people facing relationship problems.

But it is important to remember that classical Feng Shui is not just about improving one’s love life, nor is it the ‘voodoo of love’ that can be used to make someone fall in love with someone else. It is about improving your interactions with people in general, to help overcome problems such as backstabbing, lack of support at work, hostility in a business or personal relationship, allowing for an amicable termination of a relationship personal or commercial and also, to soften the treatment with the people around you.

So let’s look at some simple methods to help improve your personal relationships with those around you, through Feng Shui. I’ll also talk about how your BaZi can help shed light on relationship issues.

Taking advantage of Yan Nian

One of the easiest techniques that almost anyone can use to help improve their personal relationship is to take advantage of Yan Nian’s guidance. If you recall from last week’s article, Yan Nian is the direction derived from the transformation of the BaGua and the Early Heaven Ten Combination. Yan Nian is the direction where Yin and Yang Qi are perfectly balanced, thus creating ideal energies for developing healthy and positive person-to-person relationships and also for calming emotions and achieving balance.

We all have a personal Yan Nian address and it is derived based on the person’s Life Gua. So, for example, if you are Li Gua, then your Yan Nian direction is North. If you are Gen Gua, then your Yan Nian direction is West.

Once you have determined your personal Yan Nian direction, touch the Qi in this direction. If you are facing relationship problems at work with colleagues or superiors, try locating your work desk to face this direction. If you have problems with family or personal relationships, try adjusting the direction of your bed so that your head sleeps pointing in the direction of Yan Nian.

If you find that you can’t align your bed in the direction of Yan Nian or you can’t change the position of your desk, then see if you can use the Yan Nian sector of your home. To find the Yan Nian sector of your house, you will first need to know the orientation direction of the house. Once you have determined the orientation direction of your house, find the Qi map that corresponds to your house.

To help improve and enhance your personal relationships, use the private room to read, work, as a bedroom or simply try to spend more time in this area. Remember, in Feng Shui, we don’t always need to ‘put’ objects nor do we always have to think about ‘activating’ Qi. Being in the room and spending time in the room, where there is positive Qi or the type of Qi we want to use, is also a means of using Feng Shui.

For those of you familiar with Flying Stars, the 4th Annual Star can also be used to help foster and enhance relationships. For the year 2006, the #4 star is in the NW sector. In 2007, it flies to the W sector and in 2008, it can be found in the NE sector.

Now, you might be wondering at this point, how does looking in a certain direction or sleeping with your head in a certain direction help with relationships?

Direction is one of the main methods used in Feng Shui to tune in to a particular type of Qi, whether it is the person who is trying to tune in to that type of energy or the property. This is because different types of Qi reside in different places, so by standing in the place or looking in that direction, we are trying to tap into that particular type of energy. This is why you find that in Feng Shui, the orientation of the property is of utmost importance. Similarly, when an individual is trying to make use of certain energies, he does so by being in a particular place in the house, or sleeping or looking in that direction.

You may also be wondering why Feng Shui practitioners frequently refer to sleeping in a particular place (for example, a room to the south) or sleeping with your head facing a particular direction. It’s quite simple: most people spend between 8 and 12 hours sleeping and resting. Therefore, it makes sense to take advantage of that time to harness useful and beneficial energies. Otherwise, those 8-12 hours are literally spent sleeping.

The peach blossom factor

Now, whenever the topic of relationships is discussed, ‘Peach Blossom’ always comes up. Almost everyone knows or has heard of ‘Peach Blossom’ (Tao Hua). It has, to its great misfortune, acquired a rather unnecessarily scandalous reputation. If some of the things written about Peach Blossom are to be believed, she is the reason husbands go astray, and also the sole savior of single women! So let’s understand what exactly Peach Blossom is and how it relates to relationships.

The term ‘peach blossom’ comes from Chinese imagery and poetry, which associates the ‘peach blossom’ flower with love and romance. So when the Chinese say that a person is experiencing “peach blossom luck”, it is a shorthand way of saying that he is having great luck with the opposite sex.

In both Feng Shui and BaZi, ‘Peach Blossom’ is a type of star. Sometimes, if for some reason, the Yan Nian sector, or the #4 star cannot be used in a house, then the Feng Shui consultant may suggest the use of water to activate the direction of the Peach Blossom star for that house. property. The misunderstanding of this technique is probably what led to the misguided ‘vase of flowers’ technique for improving love life luck. It is not the vase, nor the flowers, but the Water and Wood element that is doing the work.

This technique is not always recommended because using the house’s Peach Blossom star activates Peach Blossom for all residents of the house, and not just the person who needs the help. Also, if too much water is used, Peach Blossom Sha can become the problem, and Peach Blossom creates discomfort instead of producing positive effects.

attraction code

In BaZi’s studio, there is also a Peach Blossom star. How does this star manifest? Well, I’m sure you know some people who naturally enjoy good personal relationships with people. Someone who is very ‘soft’, has that magic touch when it comes to dealing with people. These are people that no one speaks ill of and who could probably charm the birds in the trees! They have a way of calming angry people, relieving discomfort and anger, and can make people feel comfortable around them. And, in general, these people also enjoy particularly good relationships with the opposite sex. They are not always handsome or good looking, but somehow they have a certain attraction factor, a certain magnetism.

These are people who usually have Peach Blossom stars on their personal BaZi chart. Politicians, rock stars, actors, and people in the public eye will usually need to have some Peach Blossom in their BaZi to help them with their endeavors.

A person with Peach Blossom in their personal BaZi chart tends to easily attract the attention of the opposite sex and has an easy time with people, including the opposite sex. Now romance, of course, is probably a little easier for these people because people are naturally attracted to them. But that doesn’t mean they always attract the people they really like or attract too! Sometimes the feeling is not mutual! Also, too much Peach Blossom on a BaZi chart is also unfavorable – it leads to Peach Blossom problems.

If you have a Peach Blossom star on your BaZi, then you probably don’t need to use Feng Shui to enhance its appeal. However, if you don’t have a Peach Blossom star in your BaZi and are having relationship problems, either at work or in your personal life, then it might be an idea to tap into Yan Nian, to help smooth and build. the relationships.

Of course, these are quite simple and elementary techniques that you can use to improve relationships, but also to understand where the problems in your relationship may lie. But at the end of the day, too much or too little attraction should never be the problem. Being attractive is only part of the equation when it comes to relationships. Building and managing your relationship is just as important. And that’s not about Feng Shui or BaZi, but about you.
