Visiting the Marvel Comics Exhibition in Dubai

Dubai is one of the great tourist and financial centers of the world. Not many may know that Dubai Airport is the second busiest airport in the world after New York’s JF Kennedy Airport. Last year Dubai handled 61 million passengers. The best part is that Dubai has a strong connection with India and 30% of the visitors are from India. Dubai attracts visitors and tourists with large entertainment displays and carnivals. There’s traditional belly dancing and sand safaris, but the city hosts exhibitions and fairs that are unique and exciting. Dubai now hosts the Marvel Comics fair. Everyone knows that Marvel Comics has carved a niche for itself in the field of entertainment. They publish comics (illustrated stories) of characters that have become part of our lives. Thus, Marvel Comics brings to the fore characters such as Mr America, Batman, Green Lantern, Superman and many more. These characters have also been adapted by Hollywood and a number of hit movies have appeared on the screen.

The Marvel Comics Fair is a mela of entertainment (to use the Indian terminology) and showcases of games and games associated with the superheroes published by Marvel Comics. It’s an excellent display of Marvel Comics and even if you’re not a fan of the superheroes presented by Marvel Comics, you can’t help but be in awe of this terrific display.

The entrance to the exhibition costs 100 AED ($25) and once inside, you witness a series of pavilions with the most modern gadgets, such as super cars, exciting rides and a glimpse into the make-up of superheroes. There are many places to eat and one can spend a whole day there. No problem getting Indian food as many stalls cater to Indians with dishes from Punjab to Tamil Nadu. Inside there is a real gala atmosphere, as many visitors appear in superhero costumes.

The exhibition can be reached by taxi or you can take a public bus. Once inside the exhibition, the futuristic atmosphere will amaze you. You can see 22nd century car models and spaceships. You can see the superheroes in action as their animated models perform all kinds of tasks, including firing laser pistols. Simply put, it is great entertainment and in case one is planning a Dubai vacation now, a visit to the Marvel Comics exhibition should be part of the itinerary. One hopes that such an exhibition can be held in India.
