Entrepreneurs are people who organize business ventures and bear all the risks associated with business. Entrepreneurs believe in themselves and their ideas and dare to take action to create their own destinies. To be successful, an entrepreneur must be bold enough to perform 5 “bold” acts.

1. Dare to dream.
Successful people always start with a dream. Regardless of age, successful entrepreneurs dream big and then seek to achieve them no matter what and how long it takes. Michael Dell founded the Dell company at the age of 19 with just $1,000. He later became the youngest CEO to earn a Fortune 500 ranking in 1992. Colonel Sanders kept his dream alive and started the Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise at the age of 65 after experiencing many business failures. He is never too young or too old to start chasing his dream.

2. Dare to take risks.
To be successful in life endeavors, we must dare to take some risks in our life decision. The risks you take today will determine whether you will succeed tomorrow. If you want to become a successful entrepreneur, you risk making capital investments to get your business off the ground. If you want to become a successful network marketer, you take a risk when you present the rejection of your network marketing opportunity to prospects. If you want to become a best-selling author, you run the risk of being rejected by publishers after you submit your manuscript. No matter how you rebuild it, success demands risk. Are you prepared to take some risks to achieve the success you want?

3. Dare to fail.
In my opinion, the only person who doesn’t experience failure is the one who doesn’t do anything new! Finding fault is one step closer to experiencing success if we learn lessons from failure and keep trying. Many have failed in business many times, but gained a wealth of invaluable experiences and lessons that money can’t buy. Taken in a good light, failures are learning experiences. Failure is the mother of all successes. Even babies failed so many times before they could finally walk. Learn from failures, keep going and never give up!

4. Dare to be different.
Successful entrepreneurs don’t do things differently, they do things differently. What do companies like Apple and Samsung have in common? These companies dare to be different by using bold designs to differentiate their products in a crowded market to gain market share and retain customers. They are creative and their daring to be a different attitude is certainly worth it!

5. Dare to act.
When you have an idea that is strong, clear and powerful, it is important to act on the idea. Very often, people intend to act when ideas arise and emotions are high. However, if you don’t translate your intention into action soon, your passion will begin to wane over time. Weeks later, the passion will cool down and months later, that passion could be gone forever. If you want something, you must act to get it. Dare to act when others say it has never been done before. Dare to act when others say it can’t be done. Dare to act when others say your chances are slim.

While there are no guarantees that your dream of being a successful entrepreneur will come true if you pursue it, one thing for sure is that you will never achieve success without action on your part.
