Indulging in small amounts of chocolate several times a week can provide the body with much-needed antioxidants. By offering colorful M&M’s in their candy jars, stores are giving customers a way to fight heart disease.

The goal when eating chocolate is not to overdo it because too much of a good thing can have consequences. Also, shoppers looking for the most health benefits should opt for candies like bulk colored M&Ms over items that include many additional ingredients besides chocolate. Although chocolate should never become a staple food, it is much better for our bodies than scientists thought.
