RelationshipI quite love all music. Well, except for a few genres that I don’t want to reveal. My preferences are traditional country, classic rock and roll, easy listening and jazz. I am very proud of my music library at home. It is one of my most prized possessions. I spend a lot of time on this hobby and work part time.
When November comes, I collect all my Christmas music to prepare for the holiday season. I add Christmas music to my ipod so I can take it with me on the road and listen to it in my car and at work. I love putting it in random mode. That way I don’t know what to expect. It’s the best of both worlds: no disc jockey, no commercials.
Love Christmas music, although something makes me sad when I should be happy. The sad part is when I think of my family and loved ones who are no longer with me. I think of my happy childhood at this time of the season.
The other day, I was looking through my Christmas music collection and pulled out the most beautiful song I have ever heard. The song was titled Let’s put Christ back in Christmas (this year)sung by the late, great, First Lady of Country Music–my favorite female country music singer of all time–Tammy Wynette. Man, what a voice.

Year after year, many of us get stressed by all the busy shopping and parties we are expected to attend. Unfortunately, we also feel loneliness, despair and depression. If we all take a deep breath and try to relax, things might get better.
It’s best not to try to get yourself into thinking that you need to please everyone. You are not expected to. If we don’t meet our goals, so what? The important thing is to get the true spirit of Christmas.
Some will attend church services during the Christmas season. There you will find positive people surrounding you with positive attitudes. Some will indulge in drunken parties. Others will condemn them and feel their true spirit of Christmas they are distracted, and will only make them feel lost and alone, detached from their feelings.
Some will go for the real thing Christmas spirit. They will do something nice for someone. They will visit a nursing home or hospital to greet a resident or patient. They will volunteer their services at a local mission, a food bank, or the Salvation Army. They will bring gifts and their love to everyone.
East Christmas season could be very, happy. let’s put Christ again in Christmas this year.
