The amazing “chair” pose can be done anywhere

I love this one, I try to make it every time I have to wait for something, even if it’s at a doctor’s appointment or to pick up a family member somewhere. You can even do it at work!

Stand with your heels against any flat wall, with your back lightly touching it. Slide down the wall, as if you were sitting on a chair, until your thighs are perfectly level with the ground (parallel lines, where your thighs are at the same angle as the flat ground below).

Now you’re sitting in an imaginary chair, one that answers the question of how to tone your thighs, and while the first few seconds will be easy, it won’t be long before you think “wow, this is hard.”

Try to hold the position for at least 30 seconds, then get up, walk around a bit, and repeat a second time. By the end of the second time you sit on your imaginary chair, you will feel a burning sensation in your thighs that is equivalent to almost 15 minutes on a stair…it’s amazing and an amazing way to tone your thighs!
