The Facebook Marketplace is somewhat similar to Craig’s List. Posting items is free, so it costs nothing to post an item you have for sale. Like you do on eBay. What makes Facebook Marketplace really great is that others can see what you have for sale on your profile.
Thus, you get a lot of free publicity for your product/service.
Now, if you’re like my girlfriend, she has HUNDREDS of friends. This can turn out to be quite lucrative for you. Keep in mind that Facebook is based on who knows you, so there is the element of trust that you invoke when someone is viewing your profile.

What I did here is not use a redirect for the link. I left the hoplink bare and told them that I would earn money if they used the service. Another would be to post that same message on the “walls” of your friends.
This way you can sell them to them personally.
