Although this is useful for the user, many Internet companies feel threatened by this technology, fearing that they will no longer be able to transmit their message to the public. However, in reality, ad blocking technology can work to your advantage, if you are an expert at it. Here is how:

1. Ad blocking saves you money. The problem with the pay-per-click advertising style is that you get hit even if someone accidentally clicks on your ad and this type of accident is extremely common. Perhaps each click is only costing you a hundred or two, but it adds up quickly. With ad blocking, you no longer have to worry about accidental visits.

2. Ad blocking forces you to be more creative and therefore stand out. Banner ads, pay-per-click ads, and pop-ups are boring and easily ignored anyway. Since they no longer reach people, you need to do a little more work on your advertising and visibility efforts. Creativity means that you are more memorable, which means that you have a better chance of attracting customers.

3. No matter how prevalent ad blocking is, not everyone will use it anyway. Ad blocking sometimes costs more as part of a subscription fee, it’s part of a search engine that people don’t like, or someone may decide to disable it.
